DNR no longer issuing wolf hunting licenses for Fall 2021 after court order

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is no longer issuing wolf hunting licenses for the Fall 2021 season.

The move comes after a judge issued an injunction stopping the hunt last week.

The DNR will instead work to complete a wolf management plan.

Anyone who suspects that wolves are preying on their pets or livestock should contact USDA-Wildlife Services.
