Deputies investigate fraud case at multiple Wal-Mart stores
Richland County deputies search for 2 suspects
RICHLAND COUNTY, Wis. — The Richland County Sheriff’s Office is searching for suspects in a fraud case from multiple Wal-Mart stores in the area.
A resident called police to report her debit card was used to make fraudulent purchases at seven different Wal-Marts on Thursday, according to a press release. The suspect racked up about $850 in purchases on the woman’s card at Wal-Mart stores in Sun Prairie, Madison, Stoughton, Baraboo and Lake Delton.
Deputies were able to get photos of the parties involved, according to the statement. Suspects are described as male Hispanics in their late 20s to early 30s, driving a newer white Hummer with unknown plates.
