Debra Lynn Gross
Debra Lynn Gross, age 60, of Janesville, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014, at her home.
She was born in Janesville on Nov. 12, 1953, the daughter of George Gross and Betty (Peterson) Becker and was a 1972 graduate of Janesville Parker High school. Debbie was married to Dwight Cox and they had 1 child together. She married Edward Glissendorf in 1990 and they also had 1 child together. Debra was a former RN that worked as assistant and director of nursing at several geriatric facilities in Janesville and surrounding areas. She was a true nature lover. She was a member of several environmental groups, including Greenpeace and The World Wildlife Federation. She was an advocate for veterans, POW/MIA, and service men.
Debra is survived by her 2 children, Kelli Cox of Milton and Dane (Sasha) Glissendorf of Janesville; 2 grandchildren, Searra and Savanna; her sister Sue (Rittenhouse) Laack of Beloit; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 sisters, Ruth DiCicco and Shirley (Raby) Koebler.
A Memorial fire will be lit at her home at 1803 Rockport Rd., Janesville, WI on Nov. 15, 2014, at 4:00 p.m. All who wish to attend are welcome.
