David Lee Sliffe
LOS ANGELES, CALIF/MADISON-David Lee Sliffe, age 47, passed away suddenly near Washougal, Wash. on Tuesday, March 14, 2017.
He was born Aug. 25, 1969, in Los Angeles, Calif, to Larry and Emma (Quintana) Sliffe. David grew up in Madison and attended La Follette High School. David and Heather Jane Watson were united in marriage in Laguna Beach, Calif. on April 18, 1999. He worked as an automobile body shop estimator.
Among his interests were spending times with his kids and family, being in the outdoors and hiking in nature, animals, airsoft, video games, the Green Bay Packers, playing card games, especially poker, BMX, and weight lifting.
David is survived by his wife, Heather Sliffe of Happy Valley, Ore. and their children, Tyler and Amanda; mother, Emma Sliffe and father, Larry Sliffe of Madison; brother, George A. Sliffe and sister, Denise M. Sliffe both of Madison; nephews, Jesse M. Rogers of Columbus and Ryan C. Fischer of San Diego, Calif.; and great-nephew, Dominik L. Rogers of Columbus.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations in David’s name to a charity of the donor’s choice.
