David A. Nondorf

David Nondorf passed away peacefully on May 27, 2012 after a long courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Dave was born September 18, 1956 to Ray and Lewina (Hasburgh) Nondorf.

He was a 1974 graduate of the Highland High School. On October 6, 1979, he married his high school sweetheart, Sue (Sorge) Nondorf. Dave was a wonderful father to his four beautiful children, Ben, Jill, Holly and Evan. Although Dave struggled with his battle with MS he was always cheerful, positive and kept his sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling and watching and attending sports events, especially the Brewers. Dave was a youth hockey coach for all four of his children and many others in the community. Dave had an associate’s degree in electronics from the Wisconsin School of Electronics. He worked for Rockwell International and was on the team that created the first electronic finger printing system. Dave retired from Lands’ End in 2005 after working there for 22 years.

Dave is survived by his wife, Sue of Dodgeville; his three children, Jillian of Neenah; Holly (Jake) Zander of Middleton and Evan (Staci Tedrick) of Middleton. He is also survived by his mother, Lewina; his mother-in-law, Donna Sorge; and his siblings; Joan (Delbert) Beckius; Richard Nondorf; Jane (John) Tarrell; Mary Finley; Nancy (Jerry) Weier; John (Sherry) Nondorf; Joyce Nondorf; Donald (Rose Baker) Nondorf; Daniel (Lisa) Nondorf and Thomas Nondorf; sister-in-laws; Rhonda Sorge; Gail Fralick and Cindy Jenkins as well as many nieces and nephews and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Benjamin; his father, Ray; his father-in-law, Jerry Sorge; his brother Jim; his brother-in-law, Kim Jenkins and his great-nephew Ethan Smith.

Dave’s family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Upland Hills Health for their care and concern and all of our family and friends who have helped and supported Dave throughout the years.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Dodgeville United Methodist Church with Pastor Charlene Bennett and Pastor Rom Pegram co-officiating. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday after 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be greatly appreciated.
