Dane County Airport announces new nonstop service

The Dane County Regional Airport says American Airlines will start new nonstop service from Madison to Charlotte, North Carolina starting in April.

More nonstop service is coming to Dane County Regional Airport in 2016.

The Dane County Regional Airport says American Airlines will start new nonstop service from Madison to Charlotte, North Carolina starting in April.

Travelers will be able to choose from an early morning and afternoon departure from the airport starting April 5 th .

“American’s commitment to south-central Wisconsin has a significant economic impact on the Dane County region,” said Dane County Executive Joe Parisi. “Additional nonstop flights to more destinations help to make Dane County a world-class destination to live, work and play.”

The Dane County Regional Airport now provides nonstop service to 11 cities, and will have more than 95 daily arrivals and departures once the new service starts. 

“We are extremely pleased that American has decided to add new service to Charlotte,” said Airport Director Bradley Livingston, AAE.  “Charlotte offers connections to many popular destinations both domestic and international.”

Travelers going to Charlotte Douglas International Airport on American Airlines will have access to more than 674 daily flights to 154 domestic and international destinations.
