Dale Jonathan Aldridge
Dale Jonathan Aldridge, age 56, of DeForest, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Dale was born on July 31, 1956, in Superior, Wisconsin, the eldest son of Frank and Esther Aldridge. Dale was raised in northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. He attended Lake Superior State College in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, earning a bachelor’s degree in Biology. At Lake Superior State College he met and married Kim Isaacs, and they were happily married for 33 years. He was a devoted father to their two sons Jon and Tom, teaching them to ski, golf, shoot and cook.
Dale brought his analytical mind and sharp wit to his career in pharmaceutical research for more than 30 years. He enjoyed sailing and boating with his family. Dale also enjoyed discussions on politics and current events, and he belonged to a long-time group of buddies who skied together at many of USA’s and Canada’s premier resorts.
Dale was preceded in death by his wife Kim on July 20, 2012. He is survived by his son Jonathan and his fiancée Kristin of Madison; son Thomas and his wife Kasey of Wautoma; brother Doug and his wife Carolyn of Raymore, Missouri; his sister Amy Aldridge Elsbury and her husband David of Indianapolis; brother-in-law Brian Isaacs of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario; sisters-in-law Karen and Darlene of California; and his nephews and nieces.
A funeral service for Dale will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the Ryan Funeral Home, Windsor/DeForest Chapel, 6924 Lake Road, with Chaplain Shirley Kelter officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Windsor Cemetery.
