Dale G. Biba
Madison/Cross Plains – Dale G. Biba passed away at UW Hospital on December 28, 2014 after a long illness. Dale was born to Joseph and Arlene (Dowling) Biba in Madison on October 29, 1947. He graduated from Madison East High School in 1966. He then went on to work at the US Postal Service as a mail handler for 35 years. He was married to Mary Schwarz for 20 years and they have two daughters, Dawn and Stacy. He also has a much loved grandson, John.
Dale is survived by his daughters, Dawn and Stacy Biba; grandson, John Varnes; his parents; his sisters Donna (Paul) Werth and Barbara Hale; a nephew Mike (Angie) Werth; nieces Sarah (Luke) Socks and Aimee (Brian) Biba; former wife Mary; former sister-in-law Deb; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Dale was preceded in death by his dear brother Ken; dear brother-in-law Allen Hale; and infant granddaughter McKenzie.
Dale survived through many health issues over the years as a result of early onset Type I Diabetes, which kept him from being able to enlist in the US Navy. He also survived a kidney transplant in 1990, which he received from his sister, Donna.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Ave., Madison, with Father Roger Nilles officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
