Cuba City’s Petitgoue wins 900th game
Winningest coach in Wisconsin history
CUBA CITY — Cuba City’s Jerry Petitgoue won his 900 game as a high school boys basketball coach with a 61-59 victory over Pecatonica in Cuba City Monday night.
Petitgoue has coached 49 seasons at Cuba City and Gratiot and has a record of 900-224.
He’s the winningest boys basketball coach in Wisconsin history.
Racine St. Catherine’s Bob Letsch is in second place with 661 wins.
Petitgoue has won three WIAA state boys basketball championships – 1981, 1991 and 1998.
