Cuba City volleyball coach earns her 600th career win
CUBA CITY, Wis. — Cuba City head coach Keri Lawson earned her 600th career victory on Sept. 19.
Lawson was hired as head varsity coach for the Cubans in 1997.
In 2007, Lawson coached Cuba City to a gold ball; two years later the Cubans collected a silver ball.
Lawson’s former players, members of her coaching staff and current co-workers had words of praise in for her in a Facebook video following her 600th career win.
Cuba City is currently tied with Riverdale, Iowa-Grant and Darlington atop of the Southwest Wisconsin Activities League conference.
According to wissports.net, they are ranked as an honorable mention team in Division 3.
