Crash sends driver, children to hospital
One child airlifted
CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Wis. — A Sunday afternoon crash in Dodge County sent a Verona man and his three children to the hospital, according to sheriff’s deputies.
Emergency responders were called to Highway 151 north of Highway 26 in Chester Township at 2 p.m. for a two-vehicle crash.
Investigators said a vehicle driven by David Rogalla, 69, of Prairie Du Sac, was southbound on Highway 151 when it drifted into the left lane.
A vehicle driven by Timothy Bowman, 38, of Verona, was pushed onto the shoulder on the left side of the road and veered across both southbound lanes and into the ditch, according to deputies.
Bowman and three children, ages four, eight and 10, were transported to a hospital. One of the children was airlifted.
Rogalla and a passenger in his car were uninjured.
