Court documents: DeForest teen climbed into crib of 2-year-old girl, charged with sexual assault

In a news conference Wednesday afternoon, the DeForest Police Department announced it arrested a 17-year-old DeForest teen for first-degree sexual assault of a child.

Eduardo Munoz Salinas was charged on multiple counts, including first-degree sexual assault of a child, burglary, lewd and lascivious behavior and bail jumping.

Munoz Salinas was arrested Sunday on the 400 block of Valeria Drive after a report of suspicious activity.

At one residence, police found a sex toy on the ground.

At another, Munoz Salinas was caught on camera wearing an open bathrobe and performing a sex act on the front steps.

Surveillance video showed him then return to the first home, where he told police he got inside, crawled in the crib of a 2-year-old girl and inappropriately touch her.

A judge set a $15,000 bond in court Wednesday.
