Cobb and Shields added to Pro Bowl
Packers players Randall Cobb and Sam Shields have been added to the Pro Bowl, the NFL announced Monday. Cobb replaces Dez Bryant, who won’t participate due to injury, and Shields replaces Darrelle Revis, who is playing in the Super Bowl with the Patriots.
Cobb finished the year tied for ninth in the NFL with 91 receptions. He also finished fourth in the league with 1,287 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns. Shields posted 42 tackles, 13 passes defensed, and two interceptions.
Shields becomes the first Packers’ cornerback selected to the Pro Bowl since Charles Woodson in 2011.
