Clerk injured during tobacco store robbery

MADISON, Wis. — A 64-year-old woman working at a tobacco store was injured when the store was robbed Wednesday.
Madison police said a man carrying a knife robbed Tobacco Outlet Plus at 3868 E. Washington Ave. at about 2:30 p.m. The man fled with a cash drawer and was seen running away with another man. Police said the second man waited outside during the robbery.
The clerk said she was pushed to the floor and complained of head, neck, shoulder and hip pain. She was taken to a hospital.
