MIDDLETON-Clarence W. (Butch) Breunig, age 70, of Middleton, passed away on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, at his home.
He was born on Sept. 17, 1944, in Madison, the son of Clarence and Bernice Breunig. He graduated from Middleton High School. Butch was a U.S. Navy Veteran who proudly served his country during the Vietnam War Era. He worked as an estimator at Benjamin Plumbing for 30 years. He is survived by his siblings; Annabell Wipperfurth, Cordella Cook, Stella (Richard) Dresen, Stanley (Mary Ann) Breunig, Phillip (Patricia) Breunig, Patricia (Ron) Paska, Mary (Charles) Olson and Alan (Diann) Breunig.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Phyllis Brumm; brother-in-laws; Alvin Wipperfurth and Duane Cook; niece, Elizabeth Breunig, and great niece Anna Ballweg.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARD’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Ave., Middleton, at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014, with Monsignor Douglas Dushack officiating.
Private burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held at Gunderson West Funeral & Cremation Care, 7435 University Avenue, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, 2014, and at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Butch’s favorite charities; The Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude’s Children Hospital, and/or St. Mary’s Hospital Chapel. On-line condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
