MIDDLETON, Wis. — The City of Middleton voted unanimously Tuesday night in favor of honoring Khris Middleton.

One of the first issues voted on at the city council’s meeting was to honor the Bucks forward who shares a surname with the city for his efforts in helping the Bucks win the 2021 NBA title.

Also on Tuesday, the Bucks confirmed Middleton has tested positive for COVID-19.

In six games this year, Middleton is averaging 20 points, 4.5 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 2.0 steals.

No word on if Middleton will make a trip to Middleton (when healthy) to celebrate and accept the honor.
