Chryst: Peavy taking time away for injury, personal reasons
MADISON, Wis. — According to Badgers head coach Paul Chryst, wide receiver Jazz Peavy will be taking some time off for personal reasons.
Peavy did not play in Wisconsin’s wins over Purdue and Maryland due to a right leg injury.
“He’s working through his ankle injury,” said Chryst, “and also going to take some time away to work through some personal things.”
Chryst did not give a time table to Peavy’s return to the team. The Badgers play at Illinois on Saturday at 11am.
