Chien-Hui (Chang) Lee

Sun Prairie – Chien-Hui “Ginny” Lee, age 77, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Brookdale Sun Prairie.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, tenacity, and vibrant smile.

Chien-Hui was born in 1942 in Taipei, Taiwan, to Wu-I and Duwn Chang. She graduated from Taiwan Provincial Junior College of Nursing in 1963 and worked as a nurse in Taiwan. She emigrated to the United States to meet her future husband, and later become a naturalized U.S. citizen.

In 1967, she married Jiing-Yun Lee, who loved her at first sight. Together they raised two children and were greatly blessed with the addition of two grandchildren to their family. They enjoyed playing tennis, attending the grandchildren’s sporting events, and pursuing the American dream.

Chien-Hui is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of 50 years.

She is survived by her daughter Lisa (Hiep), son Michael (Tomoko), grandsons Sam and Alex, sister Susan, niece Rosemary, and nephews Alfred, Brian, and Winston.

We extend our gratitude to the committed caretakers at Brookdale Sun Prairie and Agrace Hospice in her final days.

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26
