Walk through Henry Vilas Zoo with a brew and more

Every year, thousands of lights transform Henry Vilas Zoo into a winter wonderland, and now you can enjoy it with beer! During the third annual Brew Lights, guests walk through the zoo with a commemorative pint glass and fill up on unlimited tastings. Enjoy beverages from more than 25 different breweries including Ale Asylum, Hacienda Beer Co., O’so Brewing Co. New Glarus Brewing, Working Draft Beer Co. and Capital Brewery. At Sujeo, a restaurant serving pan-Asian cuisine near downtown Madison, #latenightnoodles is a staple. This Friday and Saturday, however, the late-night noodle bar goes to the next level with a special event, Late Night Beer & Noods with 3 Sheeps Brewing. Guests will enjoy Sujeo’s rotating noodle special and a newly released pale ale — all included in the price. Space Coast by local brewery, 3 Sheeps Brewing Co., is a pale ale with “galaxy hops and lactose.” And don’t leave without your free 3 Sheeps Brewing Co. swag including stickers, pins, koozies or keychains. 9 p.m. Price to be determined; No pre-purchase necessary. During Pints for Pups at BarleyPop Tap and Shop you can have a beer while benefiting a good cause. For every pint sold, $1 will be donated directly to Underdog Pet Rescue of Wisconsin. The best part, some of the pups in need of a home will be at the event. So come, pet a pup and sip on several specialty beers such as chocolate vanilla maple imperial stout, a fruity sour or a Milwaukee-made Kellerbeir. 1-5 p.m. Free admission. Click here for more info

Although the Nitty Gritty is known for free beer on your birthday, this week you can also enjoy an Afternoon Of Spirits with Jonna The Happy Medium. Known around the Midwest for her “soul of a gypsy and mouth of a trucker,” Jonna Kay intertwines humor into her healing messages. Members from the audience receive special readings on stage while others sit back with a cold beer. 2-4 p.m. $25. Click here for more info

Monday, Dec. 3
Enjoy An Epic Brewing Beer Dinner at The Tin Fox, a newly opened restaurant on Monroe Street. The special dinner will feature a four-course meal prepared by head chef Justice Neal. Courses include a heritage farms pork belly rillette, charred baby octopus, veal tenderloin and sweet potato creme brülee. Each course is paired with a different beer from Epic Brewing Co., such as Tart ‘n Juicy Sour IPA, New England Style IPA, Los Locos Mexican Style Lager and Big Bad Baptist Imperial Stout. 6:30 p.m. $66.
