Charles John Heindl
Madison Charles John Heindl, age 51, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 24, 2014.
He was born August 7, 1962, the son of Urban and Rose (Ledger) Heindl in Marshfield. He married Lisa Hansen on November 19, 1983 in Elkhorn and together they raised two children.
Charles will be remembered for his sense of humor and especially his jokes for April Fool’s Day, which he especially enjoyed. Charles gave back to his church, volunteering and helping out. He took great pleasure in riding his Harley, father-son hunting trips with Kyle in northern Wisconsin, the birth of his first grandson, and enjoyed family time, especially family vacations.
Charles is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lisa; two children, Ashley (Austin) Bishop and Kyle (Autumn Gustafson) Heindl; one grandson, Robert Bishop; his father, Urban Heindl; four sisters; one brother; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Heindl.
A Memorial Mass will be at 3 p.m. on Monday, June 30, 2014 at ST. PETER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5001 N. Sherman Avenue with Msgr. Charles Schluter presiding.
