Catholic Memorial beats Mount Horeb again

Mount Horeb has now played Catholic Memorial at the state girls soccer tournament four years in a row. For the fourth straight time, the Vikings came out on the short end of a 4-1 game, as the Crusaders advanced to the division three championship in Milwaukee. 

The Crusaders wasted no time jumping out in front. Mo Burke scored just 2:36 into the game to make it 1-0 Catholic Memorial. Before halftime, Emily Cervantes scored on a corner kick to make it 2-0 at recess. 

Early in the second half, the Crusaders slammed the door shut for good. Nicole Piette scored a pair of goals- the first unassisted, the second assisted by Burke to make it 4-0. Shianna Schmit-Colvin scored for Mount Horeb in the 83rd minute to make it 4-1.
