New Glarus wins first boys basketball state title

Glarner Knights stop Lourdes Academy, 67-62

Fourth-seeded New Glarus (26-2) won the Division 4 championship with a 67-62 victory over Lourdes Academy in the 2019 State Boys Basketball Tournament Saturday afternoon at the Kohl Center. The game was closely contested throughout with the largest lead by any team being five points by New Glarus.

New Glarus defeats defending champion Roncalli, 44-41

Glarner Knights' first win at state since 1932

Jaden Kreklow scored 21 points to lead New Glarus to a 44-41 win over defending Division Four champion Roncalli in a WIAA State Boys Basketball semifinal game at the Kohl Center Thursday night.
