PHOTOS: Protesters take to north Madison streets

Madison's Young Black and Gifted Coalition took to the road again Saturday afternoon, marching this time on Northport Drive, closing the road at several north Madison intersections. More than 100 people participated, carrying signs that read "no new jail" and "I can't breathe," chanting, and leading up to a die-in protest in front of the Madison Police Department's North District station on Londonderry Drive.

Snow expected Saturday

After a very quiet December in which Madison picked up only 0.1 inches of snow for the entire month, a low pressure system moving in this weekend is poised to drop a few inches of snow on the area from Saturday night into Sunday morning.
