An Alert Day is in the forecast for Friday night and Saturday. Accumulating snow is likely through the period. Right now, it looks like snow totals will range from an inch or so northwest of Dane County to up to 4 inches elsewhere. There may be locally higher amounts of 5 or 6 inches in a few spots.
