Cary Dean Tanner
Cary Dean Tanner, age 51, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 14, 2014.
He was born at the Richland Hospital on February 24, 1962, the son of Carl and Donna Tanner. He attended Richland Center High School, and then worked alongside his father at Center Tire Mart until the business closed. Cary then worked at R&K Tire and Auto for the next 13 years. He was presently employed at Kennedy Ag Repair in Lone Rock, Wisconsin as a mechanic.
Cary loved camping and fishing. He spent many weekends at Blackhawk Park on the Mississippi River with his family and friends. Cary was an avid Packer fan and loved watching NASCAR. He enjoyed helping his friends and neighbors with weekend projects.
Survivors include: his loving companion Jean Keegan of Richland Center: one sister Vernell (Frank) Zajicek of Prairie du Sac, two brothers: Vaun (Sissy) Tanner of Cazenovia, Armin (Carol) Tanner of Fort Worth, TX, his stepmother Norma Tanner, two stepbrothers: Ron (Mary) Ewing, David (Andrea) Ewing, his stepsister Kendy Ewing, his extended Keegan family, including Jean’s children and their families, several nieces and nephews, Aunts, cousins and many friends.
Cary is preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and his favorite Beagle, Molly.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the PRATT MEMORIAL CHAPEL. Pastor Craig Peach will officiate and burial will be in the Sylvan Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 PM until the service at 6:00 PM.
The family suggests memorials in lieu of flowers.
The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting with arrangements for Cary D. Tanner.
