Carol Jean Robb
Carol Jean Robb, age 88 of Madison went to meet her Savior, Jesus, on Saturday morning, February 25, 2017 at Madison Pointe Assisted Living.
She was born on November 18, 1928 in Blanchardville, WI to Everett and Edna (Thompson) Soper. Carol grew up in Blanchardville, and graduated from the Blanchardville High School where she met her future husband, Dr. Doral Robb. They were married on November 21, 1948. Carol was active in working with her husband at Robb Chiropractic, served as President of the Wisconsin Chiropractic Auxiliary, was a Shaklee Sales Supervisor and a World Images Consultant and Trainer. She was an active member at Holy Cross Lutheran Church for over 40 years and served on their various committees, in the choir, and was a Sunday School teacher. Carol’s happiest and most endearing memories were of spending time with her family, sewing and quilting with her grandchildren and watching her great grandchildren grow.
Carol is survived by her four sons, James Robb of Stoughton, Jon (Connie) Robb of Cottage Grove, Dr. Kim Robb, and Dr. Daniel (Mary) Robb, both of McFarland; five grandchildren, Christopher (Nicole Reamon), Lindsay (Jeremy) Krull, Caitlin, Natalie and Elizabeth; three great grandchildren, Stella and Beckett Krull and Bryce Goodman; and a brother Don (colleen) Soper of Waunakee. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Dr Doral Robb who died on April 27, 2009, her brother King (Katherine) Soper and grandson Nelson Jon Robb.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday morning, February 28, 2017 from 9:00 until 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church at 734 Holy Cross Way in Madison. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the church. Rev. Bernt Tweit will officiate. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery in Blanchardville.
