Carol A. Mork
Janesville/ Beloit — Carol A. Mork, age 82, of Janesville, formerly of Beloit, died Friday, April 14, 2017 at Rock Haven Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Janesville on November 12, 1934, the only daughter of Floyd W. and Isabel R. (Getz) Mork. Carol had been employed at Freeman Display and as a CNA for Mercy Health Systems for over 20 years. She was a loving mother and, as a grandmother, was always willing to share stories with her grandchildren. In addition to spending time with family, Carol enjoyed watching tennis and old movies on TCM
She is survived by 4 children: Eliot (Susan) Stein, Elisa Horkey, Leila (Ed) Henning and Laurie (Pat) Duchsherer; 11 grandchildren: Jenni (Jim) Leikness, Amy (Tim) Carroll, Ryan Stein, Eric (Deanna) Stein, Bob (Adrienne,) Henning, Jackie (Tim) Legler, Ed (Abby) Henning, Erin (Pete) Fioretti, Hallie (Alan) Gunderson, Chad Horkey and Lizzy (Eric) Lan; 7 great grandchildren: Ashley, Kendall, Bella, Olivia, Teddy, Isabelle and Oliver. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, 2 grandson, Paul James and John Paul, and many animals she cared for throughout her life.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Janesville. Friends may call on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
