Car keys stolen from gym locker room, vehicle reported stolen, police say

MADISON, Wis. — A thief cut a lock Sunday night and stole multiple items from a locker in the women’s dressing room at the Princeton Club.

According to an incident report, a 17-year-old reported the keys to her father’s 2014 GMC Acadia were stolen. When she went to the parking lot to find the vehicle, it was gone.

One employee said a handful of teenagers came in to use the bathroom around the time of the theft.

Police spotted the vehicle multiple times on the roadway, but did not chase it. Local police departments have been notified about the stolen vehicle.
