Car crashes into tree, damages house, officials say
MADISON, Wis. — A house was significantly damaged Friday morning when a car crashed and became wedged between it and a tree, officials said.
Emergency crews were called around 10:15 a.m. to the 8300 block of Blackwolf Drive for reports of a vehicle that crashed into a tree and a house, according to a release.
A four-door car was pinned between the tree and house with significant damage to the passenger side of the front end, where the car hit the large tree trunk, officials said.
The crash also significantly damaged the home, according to the release.
The driver refused to be taken to a hospital, but was treated by paramedics at the scene, officials said.
Crews determined the house did not need emergency repair work and no gas or water lines were impacted, according to the release.
