Capitol police increase patrols after gun shop burglary

Capitol police in Madison have increased patrols as law enforcement looks for a man considered “dangerous” after a gun shop burglary in Rock County.

Officers are looking for Joseph A. Jakubowski, 32, of Janesville, who is wanted for questioning in connection with the Tuesday burglary of Armageddon Gun Shop.

Deputies said they learned Thursday morning that Jakubowski was agitated about political issues and threatened to steal weapons and use them against public officials and an unspecified school.

The Capitol police said they have not received or been notified of any specific threats.
