Bust out the crayons, java seekers, the 2017 Starbucks holiday cup is here
Bust out the craft colors, because Starbucks debuted a special cup design for the holiday season Wednesday.
The coffee giant has been serving coffee in red cups from Nov. 1 through the end of the year for 19 years to mark the season.
For 2017, Starbucks unveiled a color-in cup with a design including a pair of hands holding red cups of coffee, an ode to cups of years past, Starbucks said Wednesday in a news release.
The cups also have swirling ribbons and holiday scenes and splashes of red and green.
“This year’s cup is intentionally designed to encourage our customers to add their own color and illustrations,” said Leanne Fremar, executive creative director for Starbucks in a news release. “We love the idea of everyone making this year’s cup their own.”
The company also said seasonal coffee offerings will return to stores this month including Chestnut Praline Latte, Caramel Brulee Latte and Peppermint Mocha.
