Business with employees working inside hit with gunfire, police say
MADISON, Wis. — Several bullets hit a north side business Tuesday night as employees worked inside, but no one was injured, police said.
Officers were called around 7:45 p.m. to Pitney Bowes Presort Services at 1820 Wright St. after several rounds struck windows of an office where an employee was using a computer, according to a release.
Investigators said someone fired from outside of the building, and shell casings were found on the ground outside.
The business is a warehouse facility where mail for other business is presorted, police said.
