Burke to vote early in Madison on Tuesday
Walker to vote Election Day
MADISON, Wis. — Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke plans to cast her ballot early on Tuesday in Madison.
Both Burke and Republican Gov. Scott Walker are urging their supporters to cast ballots now during a two-week early voting period that ends on Oct. 31. The election is Nov. 4.
Burke held rallies with supporters on Monday to encourage early voting, while Republicans were also holding similar events across the state to get their backers to the polls.
Walker plans to cast his ballot on Election Day at his polling station in Wauwatosa.
The latest Marquette University Law School poll released last week showed the governor’s race is tied, putting an even greater focus on get out the vote efforts.
