Burglar kicks down door, steals handguns from home, police say
MADISON, Wis. — A burglar stole two handguns and a safe Tuesday afternoon after kicking in a door to an east side home, Madison police said.
Officers were called to the Wilton Court home around 3:30 p.m. when the resident returned to the residence and found a door kicked in, according to a release.
Neighbors reported seeing a teenager near the house sometime before noon, police said.
The teenager is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a slender build. He was wearing a greenish beigen, thick hooded sweatshirt.
