Stray bullet hits house with children inside

MADISON, Wis. — Madison Police say they found a bullet inside a west-side home that had two adults and 3 children inside Sunday Morning.

According to the report there were no injuries and the house was not targeted.

Police got multiple calls about shots fired near Loreen Drive, off of Raymond Road around 3:21 a.m.

Officers say they found multiple shell casings–including one bullet that went through a window of a house on the 1400 block.

Police are still investigating.
