Build X conference helps female construction workers connect
130 people attended the event
MADISON, Wis. — Women from Madison and Milwaukee gathered at the Hilton in Sun Prarie Thursday for the Build X conference.
The conference looked to empower women working in the construction field.
“10 percent of the workforce is women in the construction industry,” Dawn McIntosh of CLE Consulting said. “We’re trying to open the door and let people know there’s a lot of opportunities”
This year’s event was the first of its kind.
