TAMPA, Fla. — The Buccaneers will be without one of their best wide receivers when they line up against the Packers on Sunday.

Mike Evans was suspended for one game after a fight with Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore during last Sunday’s game. Both Evans and Lattimore were ejected following the incident, and the Bucs went on to win the game.

Evans has been a constant force for Tampa Bay since being drafted in the first round in 2014. He has never recorded a season with less than 60 catches and 1,000 yards since entering the NFL, and was one of Tom Brady’s prime targets during the 2020 Super Bowl-winning season.

The suspension keeps Evans out of the Bucs’ Week 3 matchup against the Packers. That game is scheduled to be played at Tampa on Sunday starting at 3:25 p.m. CT.
