Bucks take 2-1 series lead with Game 3 win in Atlanta
ATLANTA — Despite an awful start to the first quarter, the Bucks found a way to head back to the hotel Sunday night with a 113-102 Game 3 win in Atlanta.
Down by as many as 15 points just six minutes into the game, Milwaukee did enough in the second half to beat the Hawks and take a 2-1 series lead in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Bucks got big games from superstars Giannis Antetotkounmpo and Khris Middleton, and solid minutes off the bench from Bobby Portis.
Milwaukee beat Atlanta by 34 points in Game 2, after losing 116-113 in Game 1. Game 4 is set for Tuesday night in Atlanta.
If the Bucks win that game, they have a chance to clinch a berth in the NBA Finals on Thursday night at Fiserv Forum.
In the Western Conference Finals, the Phoenix Suns lead the L.A. Clippers 3-1. Game 5 of that series is scheduled for Monday night.
