Bucks start strong, win Game 1 over Boston with Giannis triple-double

BOSTON — The Bucks got off on the right foot Sunday, taking Game One of the Eastern Conference Semifinals over Boston, 101-89.
Giannis led the way for the Bucks, putting up 24 points with 13 rebounds and 12 assists. Jrue Holiday also stepped up, adding 25 points and 10 rebounds.

Jayson Tatum caused Milwaukee the most trouble, dropping 21 points and shooting 4-9 from beyond the arc. Five Celtics shooters scored double figures.
The Bucks outrebounded the Celtics 55-48, with Bobby Portis grabbing 11 boards for Milwaukee.
The teams will be back at TD Garden on Tuesday for Game Two. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
