Bucks offering summer basketball camps for kids, including some in Madison area

MADISON, Wis. — As the Milwaukee Bucks try to win their second straight NBA championship, the organization is announcing a set of team-sponsored basketball camps for kids later this summer, including several camps in southern Wisconsin.

Dates for the camps vary by location, but the first camps will begin on June 6 and the last ones will wrap up on August 25.

The camps are for kids between the ages of 7 and 14, and are a mix of half-day and full-day programs including instruction on ball handling, passing, shooting, and defensive and offensive concepts led by professional coaches. The programs are designed to teach kids of all skill levels the fundamentals of basketball in a motivating and positive environment.

Each kid who attends a Summer Camp will also get a basketball, a performance t-shirt, and a ticket to a Bucks home game during the 2022-2023 season.

Half-day camps will run from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday through Friday, while full-day camps will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday. Fees are $295 for the full-day camp and $200 for the half-day camp.
