MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Bucks have spent most of the NBA playoffs without forward Khris Middleton on the court, and it appears that will continue to be the case.

The team said Thursday that Middleton “continues to make steady progress on his left knee injury rehabilitation.” Middleton left the April 20 game against the Chicago Bulls in the fourth period with an injury earlier described as a sprained left MCL.

More updates on Middleton’s condition will be provided “as appropriate,” the Bucks said.

Playoff play returns to the Fiserv Forum Saturday afternoon, with the Bucks facing the Boston Celtics for the third game of their series.
