Bucks advance to Eastern Conference semis after sweeping Heat
MIAMI — The Bucks are moving on.
Milwaukee topped the Miami Heat 120-103 on Saturday afternoon, completing a four-game sweep in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
It’s revenge for the Bucks, who were eliminated in last year’s NBA Bubble by Jimmy Butler and the eventual conference champs Heat.
Bucks MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo picked up his first playoff triple-double in the win, finishing with 20 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds.
Milwaukee won’t find out its next opponent until later next week, but it will be the winner of the No. 2 Nets and No. 7 Celtics series, which Brooklyn currently leads 2-1.
