Brust Leads Badgers To Home Victory

For the second time this season, University of Wisconsin Badgers sophomore Ben Brust tied a school record by hitting seven 3-pointers as the Badgers topped UNLV 62-51 Saturday at the Kohl Center.

Brust lead the Badgers with 25 points for the game. Senior Jordan Taylor struggled from the field, shooting 0-10 on the game. He was 4-5 on free throws for four points.

UNLV, which entered the game scoring 83 points per game, was held to a season-low 51 points. The Badgers have now held nine of their 10 opponents to that team?s lowest scoring output of the season.

Wisconsin’s Mike Bruesewitz lead the Badgers with a career-high 10 rebounds for the game. Ryan Evans also snatched a career-high nine rebounds for Wisconsin.

Coach Bo Ryan won his 250th game at Wisconsin. He’s the third-fastest coach to reach that mark in Big Ten history.
