Brian Walsh, age 43, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at UW Hospital in Madison.
He was born on January 29, 1971, the son of the late Robert and Irene (Haas) Walsh. Brian was a talented sheet metal worker and a proud member of the Union. He was an outdoor enthusiast with a special fondness for hunting with his family, and loved spending time with his ever faithful dog, Buster. Brian was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
He is survived by a sister, Joleen Gudel; six brothers, Thomas (Colleen) Walsh, Bill Walsh, Charlie (Jeanne) Fuchs, Ernie Fuchs, Merle (Lynee) Fuchs and Dale (Karen) Fuchs; ten nieces and nephews that will miss their uncle very much, Stefani, Andrea, Amanda, Justin, Danny, Adam, Katrina, Trevor, Alyssa and Sierra; other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. ALOYSIUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Sauk City, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2014 with Fr. John Blewett presiding. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Following burial, a luncheon will be held at the Dorf Haus Restaurant in Roxbury.
Special thanks goes to the staff at UW Hospital for their caring and comforting measures taken for Brian. Brian and his family were very appreciative of the many kind words and gestures during his stay at the hospital.
There are no words to express the sadness in our hearts, but the memories that we have of Brian will live with us forever. He was loved by many and we pray that Brian has found peace, surrounded by the loved ones who have gone before him, in God’s hands.
