Brewers restructure seating pods after first series, making more seats available
MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Brewers say they’re restructuring their seating pods after their first homestand of the season to allow more ticket availability for people who only want to go to a game with one other person.
The team announced a new seating plan Tuesday to acommodate more people looking to buy two-person pods by reducing the number of four- and six-person pods available. Capacity at American Family Field will still be limited to 25% overall, but the hope is dividing some of the larger pods into more two-person pods will make tickets available to more fans looking to get into the ballpark.
“Through the first few weeks of sales, we have found that the demand for two-person seating pods exceeds the supply that we have available,” Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger said. “This will create more options for fans for all games, including those that remain scheduled in April.”
Tickets are still available for many games through May 2nd and can be bought online at brewers.com, by calling 1-800-933-7890 or at the American Family Field box office.
Fans are encouraged to stay updated on the consistently-evolving guidelines in place at brewers.com/COVID.
