Brewers release limited number of additional playoff tickets

MILWAUKEE — Brewers fans have another chance to scoop up some tickets to the team’s first two playoff games later this week.

The team announced Tuesday morning it is releasing 500 additional tickets for the first two games of their series against the Atlanta Braves to the public. The tickets were previously being held by Major League Baseball and its sponsors.

Fans have a chance to buy the tickets online at the team’s website or by calling 414-902-4000, although tickets are expected to go fast.

Additional standing room and obstructed view tickets are also available.

Game 1 of the National League Division Series between the Brewers and the Atlanta Braves is set for Friday at 3:37 p.m in Milwaukee. Game 2 is scheduled for Saturday at 4:07 p.m.

The team also recently announced tickets for the National League Championship Series, should the Brewers advance to the next round of the playoffs, will go on sale for Wisconsin residents at the end of the week. Tickets bought for those games would be refunded if the Brewers are eliminated before those games are played.
