Milwaukee Brewers slugger Ryan Braun will start in left field and bat third for the National League in the MLB All-Star Game Tuesday night in Kansas City.

NL manager Tony LaRussa and AL manager Ron Washington unveiled their lineups Monday.

Braun is making his fifth consecutive all-star game appearance. He’s replacing Los Angeles Dodgers star Matt Kemp in the starting lineup, who is on the disabled list.

Braun was fourth in fan voting for the mid-summer classic. The reigning NL Most Valuable Player is joined at the All-Star Game by Brewers manager Ron Roenicke.
