Brandon John Green

Brandon John Green

Brandon John Green, age 34, was unexpectedly lifted to the light on April 12, 2017 at his home in Los Angeles, CA. He was born on May 13, 1982 and was a precious gift to his parents, John and Kathy Green. They first lived in Elroy and then the family moved to Mauston. He graduated from Mauston High School in 2001. He attended WWTC in Mauston and La Crosse, graduating with a degree in Graphic Design. Brandon was a jack-of-all-trades, a true entrepreneur. He was a chef, D.J., a computer specialist, a salesman, an artist, a philosopher, and full time Uber driver in LA. He had a passion for art, music, skateboarding, biking, hiking, skiing, and life. We will miss his infectious smile and his wicked sense of humor. Brandon was an avid believer in the power of positive thoughts. He believed everything happened for a reason. While we struggle with that now, we all need to embrace our beloved “Brandonisms” and search for the good he so passionately believed in. No matter what happened he always asked, “So, what lesson did I/you learn from that?” He is survived by his parents, John and Kathy Green; Grandmother, Janet Daily, of Mauston; Aunt Diane Thompson-Daily (Dan Engler) of Oshkosh; Uncle Jim (Barb) Daily and cousins Shannon and Joe Daily of Chatfield, MN; Aunt Mary Green of Alexandria, VA; cousin Tim (Laura) Green of Arlington, VA; and the girl of his dreams, Daria Kovtun, of Los Angeles, CA; great aunts & uncles, numerous cousins, and many, many friends. Brandon was preceded in this life by paternal grandparents, Neil & Romelle Green; maternal grandfather, Fred Daily, and Uncle Tom Green. A celebration of his life will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church in Mauston on April 29th, with visitation from 9 to 11, celebration at 11, with a “Brandon’s favorites” lunch to follow. Please come and share your Brandon stories with us and let us know what you learned from knowing him. Meditate, breathe deep, Namaste.
