Boys Basketball: Sun Prairie beats Memorial 64-53
Madison, Wis. — There’s just something about Memorial and Sun Prairie when they meet on the boys basketball court.
In December, Memorial won the first meeting with a heart stopping late game three pointer on the road at Sun Prairie.
Game two, Friday night at Memorial. The Spartans are the second ranked boys team in Division one basketball.
As expected very tight game. At the end of the second Sharef Smith, the hero the last game for Memorial, beats the second quarter buzzer. We are tied at 23 at the half.
Sun Prairie’s Nick Fuller had a monster 3rd quarter, scoring 13 points. The senior will play basketball at Nebraska next year.
But Memorial played well at home. Jester Weah steals the inbounds and beats the 3rd quarter buzzer. We are tied at 38 at the start of the 4th.
The Cardinals were not to be denied. Nick Fuller scores 26 and Sun Prairie wins 64 to 53.
