Boston University crushes Wisconsin 6-1

Badgers fare well in Academic Progress Rates

Wisconsin men’s hockey took one on the chin Saturday night at the Kohl Center as No. 2 Boston University beat UW 6-1. 

Wisconsin actually led early in the game when Jedd Soleway scored to make it 1-0. The goal was reviewed by officials and upheld to give UW a 1-0 lead. 

From there it was all Boston. Jack Eichel led the charge, scoring two goals for the Terriers. 

Badgers goalie Joel Rumpel recorded 26 saves in the contest. 

With the 6-1 defeat, Wisconsin falls to 2-12-2 on the season. Up next, Wisconsin visits Minnesota next Friday.
